Answer Question
Are there known recording and saving project issues with the Pixie app and iOS12.1?
We've updated the app to version 2.166.10, and we are running iOS version 12.1 in our iPads.
Details of our known issues:
1. I've been having this problem for two weeks. But it was completely random. An entire class of second graders couldn't use the microphone, a second complete class could, and a third had a mixture of students who could or couldn't. The weird thing was that all of them were from the same school with the same age devices and it didn't matter if they were updated to iOS12 or not. A mystery I have yet to solve.
2. I just tried on my teacher iPad and got the same error. I too went to Privacy >Photos and couldn’t locate the Pixie app to turn on. Then I scrolled down in the settings app to the Pixie app tab, and Camera is turned on; however it’s still not exporting to the photos app.
3. Some of my students have been having trouble saving their Pixie projects to their camera roll. We follow the steps: Send, Export Images, Camera Roll, Full Page. But then a message pops up on some iPads that says to allow access to Camera Roll through Settings/Privacy. When I go to the Privacy section in settings, Pixie is not an option. I was wondering if you are familiar with this problem and have a solution?
