Wixie Video export

Hello,

A teacher would like to make a video in which we record different videos on different pages, collaborate to bring those all into one document (each page has background and a video), and then export this as a file we post as a single watchable movie on YouTube (rather than an interactive Wixie link requiring them to click on the video on each page to play it and manually go to new pages) - basically, working like a slideshow with auto play for the videos. is this possible? I've experimented a bit and can't get it to work in that way.

Currently, we do not have an option to export Wixie projects as video.

We have had users request this feature several times in the past and we are actively looking into adding video export in a future update to Wixie.

I will update this answer if the feature becomes available.

Hello Nate,

I am excited to announce that we are now able to export projects as MP4 videos.

With the project open in Wixie -
Go to the File menu and choose Download

You will see the Video option in the Export dialog.

Teachers can also export student projects as video from the Students page.

Select the project the student created.

On the project details page, click the Download button.

You will see the Video option in the Export dialog.

Videos are currently limited to 10 minutes in length.
