Frames will support common image types such as - bmp, jpg, jpeg, png, gif
If you are importing a folder of images, be sure to select the folder and do not open it. I suspect this is the issue you are encountering - see this Snack. If you want to import a single image, see this Snack. If you want to add an image as a sticker, see this Snack.
