If a student had an account in Wixie last year, or last semester, then they should be taken to Projects View based on your settings. More on settings below.
If a student is new, and does not have any projects or assignments, then they will briefly see Projects view with a message displaying - There are no projects to display.
They will then be taken to a new blank project.
If a student is new, and does not have any projects, but they do have an Assignment, then they will see Projects View with their Assignment on the left side.
Settings:
If students have created projects, but are still taken to a new Blank Project, then you may need to check your settings.
In the Admin Account, go to the Settings page.
In the Wixie Authoring Tool section, make sure Open To: is set to Project Manager and not Blank Project.
You may also need to change your Teacher Settings or the individual student setting.
Log in to your Teacher Account.
Go to the Settings page.
For the Teacher, in the Authoring section, make sure Open To: is set to Project Manager.
If you select an individual student, you can also check/change this setting.
