If the students open their saved project, they can click the Send button and choose Copy Project URL. If your school is set to include the public key, it will show a URL that includes the key - like this one:
"https://wixie.com/u581049&authKey=5pjssz"
*Without the quotes. Here is the link. Notice that the URL contains "authKey=" followed by the public key. This URL will not prompt for a public key on viewing.
You can also get a URL from the teacher page that does not require a key. The setting will also affect the embed code, so you can get an embed code that does not require a key. (see #5 in the article linked below)
You could also export the project as HTML or images if those formats work better.
