Is the Wixie App still available on Amazon (for use on a Kindle Fire?)

I have a parent that is unable to download the Wixie App on her child's Kindle Fire. Any suggestions that I can offer her?

Unfortunately, we stopped development for the Kindle Fire due to lack of interest. We may revisit this at a later date if more users ask about Wixie for the Kindle Fire.

Wixie is available as an app for most other Android devices and iPads.

Your student can also log in on a Chromebook, Windows or Macintosh computer that meets the system requirements.

Any chance you've received additional interest for development towards the Fire? My child's 3rd grade classroom is using this app and requested all students bring in a device. The Amazon Fire is the only thing in a reasonable price range that I could find. So now that I've purchased it and getting it configured, realized Wixie might not be available :(

We currently do not have a version of Wixie on the Amazon app store. If you are an advanced user, and can install Android apps that do not come from the Amazon store, then you may be able to get a working version on your device. Please open a technical support ticket if you need assistance.

Oh thanks, I didn't know that was an option. I'll give that a try!
