While you do not need to be connected to the Internet to use Pixie or Pixie Home, you will have access to additional clip art and activities if you are connected to the web.
In the Library, you will see online items displayed with a little globe in the upper left corner of the sticker or folder.
In the Activities, there will also be a little globe in the upper left corner of items that are online.

Pixie licensing is a one time purchase, and you do not have to be connected to the Internet to use Pixie. Pixie Home Edition is available through Amazon or on Tech4Learning's online store.
