1) Ensure that all users are on the same LAN (network). Check each computer's IP address. If the first three sets of numbers are not the same (like 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.11.1), the computers may be on different networks. If you have both wireless and wired networks, try using the same network connection for each computer.
2) Check the application preferences. In Pixie, for example, go to the Edit menu (Windows) or the Pixie menu (Mac), choose Preferences, click the Features category, and use the Network pull-down menu to choose which adapter Pixie will use for collaboration.
3) Ask your network technician if multicast is enabled on the network. Pixie uses multicast to establish collaboration sessions. If a network switch or router does not allow multicast traffic, Pixie users will not be able to see one another.
4) If your router or switch supports IGMP snooping, disable this feature.
